Ellington is also on Vickie's Paternal Side of the family.

I have made a lot of progress on this line in the past six months or so.  I discovered a lot of material at the Grimes County court house that is in my possession now.

The patriarch to-date appears to be LEONARD Ellington, though this is 50% at best.  I have solidified Thomas Ellington as the first person to move with his family to Texas in 1841.   Both he and his oldest son, Adolphus served in the Meir Expedition for the battle of freedom and oppression, resulting in the County of Texas.
