We took off a few days to head down to Progresso Nuevo and Matamoras.  We also stopped in Corpus Christi and South Padre Island.  We a very fun little four day trip.  We saw the USS Lexington in Corpus and a really nice aquarium they had there. Lastly, we stopped at Goliad where Santa Anna gave the order to have all of Colonel Fannin's Texas troops slaughtered.
